What is Pick and Pack?
What is Pick and Pack?
Promotional Items are stored in a warehouse – each with a unique part number or SKU – (Stock Keeping Unit). The unique number system ensures that when ordered the right product is taken from stock.
When you use our on-line system to place an order a ‘picking ticket’ is automatically generated. The system will also automatically reduce the stock level, and the warehouse will ‘pick’ the stock. The picking ticket having a code which describes the location of the SKU within the warehouse.
Collation and Fulfilment of Gift Boxes
As well as picking individual items from stock and packaging ready for shipment – PDI can collate items to create gift packs and presentation packs.
Presentation boxes can be simple coloured boxes, full colour printed boxes carrying logo and design or magnetic closure boxes with elegant logo placement. We can then pack the boxes and use eco tissue or coloured shredded paper to secure the contents. Adding a personalised note is also common.
The presentation boxes are the placed in a shipping box to protect during transit. Boxes then can then be sent in bulk or to individual addresses as required.
